Elizabeth Dupuy
As a visual artist, I have worked hand in hand with art education for over 40 years. My firm belief is that in order to be a good art teacher, one must be a practicing artist. Over this amount of time, my creative leanings have swayed from one medium to another. From photography, to a series of skyscape pastel paintings, to an interest in printmaking (specifically monotypes), to a brief interlude with collages, to (most recently) a rekindled love of ceramics, I have taught and created with a passion for it all. Witnessing the ah-ha moment in the artistic process with my students has been just as gratifying as personal ah-ha moments. My hope is that you, the viewer, may experience an ah-ha moment when contemplating my work.
