Welcome to my studio. I’m happy to share the place where I spend many hours working with clay, paint and imagination.

Most of my work begins on the pottery wheel, where I create functional pottery meant to be enjoyed every day. I love the idea that a favorite mug, bowl, or serving piece can become part of someone’s daily life or becomes a gift to be given and remembered.

Alongside my functional pottery, I hand-build whimsical character driven sculptures inspired by animals, people, and everyday objects. These pieces have a playful twist and I enjoy when people find them fun and uniquely relatable.

My background as an oil painter continues to shape my ceramics. Many of my pieces are hand painted, allowing me to combine my love of color and surface design with the tactile beauty of clay.

I’ve always been project oriented. Whether working in ceramics, painting, stained glass, or woodworking, I am driven to making beautiful and meaningful objects.

Living and creating in Topanga Canyon continually inspires me. I am looking forward to people on the Studio Tour coming to my home and studio to explore my work and see where it is created. Perhaps you’ll find a handmade piece that speaks to you and becomes part of your own home and story.
